Terlalu sering menggunakan atau terlalu memaksa pemakaian headset akan menyebabkan kerusakan gangguan pendengaran atau penurunan fungsi pendengaran [tuli, budeg dll.]. Apalagi biasanya earphone/headset digunakan dengan diset sekeras-kerasnya untuk "melawan" noise dari luar yang biasanya kita gunakan di tempat-tempat ramai/bising. Ini sangat beresiko tinggi.

Ketulian sudah dapat menyerang orang semakin dini. Awal-awalnya telinga yang sering menggunakan earphone tidak terasa apa-apa, tapi ketika hendak mencabut earphone, telinga terasa panas dan berdengung hebat.

Pola makan kaya buah citrus seperti jeruk dan jeruk bali dapat mengurangi risiko wanita mengalami gangguan stroke.

Sebuah studi menyebutkan, wanita yang mengonsumsi buah citrus seperti jeruk, jeruk bali dan lemon secara teratur memiliki risiko 19 persen lebih rendah menderita stroke iskemik ketimbang wanita dengan asupan jeruk jarang.

Stroke iskemik adalah kondisi dimana aliran darah ke otak tersumbat, kadang-kadang diakibatkan oleh penyumbatan arteri.

Dalam beberapa penelitian terungkap manfaat asupan buah. Pada penelitian terbaru ini, ilmuwan mengamati asupan berbagai jenis buah. Studi sebelumnya menemukan flavonoid yang ditemukan dalam buah dan sayuran menguntungkan namun tak semuanya mampu mengurangi risiko stroke.

Brokoli telah lama diketahui sebagai salah satu sayuran yang menyehatkan karena kandungan gizi di dalamnya. Temuan dari peneliti di John Hopkins University itu mengungkapkan bahwa ada sebuah kandungan dalam brokoli yang mampu mencegah perkembangan tumor hingga 60 persen.Brokoli juga menunjukan pengurangan ukuran tumor yang tidak berkembang hingga 75 persen.

Penyebab

Bila Anda sering mengalami kram saat tidur, lakukan gerakan pelemasan pada otot-otot betis sebelum tidur. Caranya adalah dengan berdiri sekitar 60-90 cm dari dinding, lalu condongkan badan ke arah dinding dengan telapak kaki tetap di tempat. Lakukanlah beberapa kali. Anda mungkin perlu beberapa hari melakukannya sampai efeknya terasa.

Tidurlah dengan posisi yang mencegah otot betis Anda tertekan tanpa disadari:

Gunakan bantal untuk menyangga telapak kaki saat Anda tidur telentang.

Bila Anda tidur tengkurap, posisikan telapak kaki menggantung di ujung kasur.

Usahakan selimut tetap longgar di bagian kaki agar jari-jari dan kaki telapak tidak menghadap ke bawah saat tidur.
